PODCAST: The multi-award winning Children’s Grief Centre provides a safe space for children learning to cope with loss and bereavement.

In this podcast, Sr Helen Culhane shares moving insights from the children she’s supported over its decade-long existence. She and her colleagues are always learning from the incredible children who pass through the centre’s doors.

Sr Helen Culhane founded the Children’s Grief Centre when she discovered a huge gap in supports for young people experiencing loss and bereavement. Small children in particular can’t verbalise what they are feeling. The centre creates a safe space for them to use activities like drawing to process their experiences and gain skills to help them cope with the sadness and pain they are going through.
